As a remote-first company, we’re building a unique workplace that’s welcoming and inclusive to all. We offer numerous virtual events year-round like talent shows, competitive game nights, cocktail making classes, a steps competition to stay active, as well as opportunities for teams to spend time together in-person, such as flying employees in from across the country to participate in department off-sites. For our employees that can come together in-person, we curate a variety of regular communal events from group dinners to classes to office happy hours.
The company culture that we’ve built is centered around celebrating a diverse set of identities. One way we ensure every team member feels heard is by regularly taking a pulse on what they need to bring their best selves to work and want to see for the larger company through quarterly surveys. Because we actively implement changes based on the feedback we collect, our culture feels like a real reflection of the people who make up our company. In addition to our transparent and feedback-driven culture, several team members have established and currently lead Employee Resource Groups to support and celebrate different identities within our organization.
While being a remote-first company has a major positive impact on employee well-being through its flexibility, we also invest in thoughtful perks and wellness policies. This includes our covered membership with Talkspace (an online therapy app), our covered membership with One Medical (a concierge primary care company), a subscription to Peloton, and unlimited vacation and mental health days, allowing our employees to recharge and put their mental health first.
Finally, our team is encouraged to recognize each other's successes and wins through our dedicated ‘shoutouts’ slack channel, during company-wide team meetings, and through our more formal policy of recognizing personal and professional milestones through personalized gifts.
