We think it shouldn’t be so difficult to find a job out of college. Even for qualified students, career fairs and job sites can feel like a black hole for resumes. Ripple changes this. We’re building the first ever marketplace for entry level talent, connecting tens of thousands of college students with employers, and helping our peers start their careers in jobs they find meaningful. We work with 100+ clients ranging from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies and have raised around $2 million in venture funding.
Working as a Campus Manager for Ripple was a great college job. I ended up helping classmates and friends find jobs, raising money for organizations on campus, and becoming really invested in the work that Ripple is doing. Running my own team on campus was a valuable experience in its own right; it was something that helped me learn more about my interests for my career going forward and something that I'd immediately feel confident in discussing in an interview for my own career search. Also, really great to have some extra cash to spend on the weekends!
I was never really sure what career I wanted to pursue until I started working at Ripple. I've come to realize my passion for marketing and communication by engaging with the Berkeley community and collaborating with our Marketing Director. As an innovative platform, Ripple has thought me how to think more creatively and strategically. It has been an amazing internship so far and hopefully I can continue exploring new ways to further expand our platform into the student community and simultaneously develop my marketing skills.
Most people don’t find an opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a truly innovative startup, but when you do, it’s like hitting the lottery. Ripple has been that opportunity for me. I started as an Intern at Cornell, and after climbing through the ranks over the last year, now lead the Business Development team. This is a place where you have to work harder AND smarter than the competition, but if you do, it is noticed and rewarded immensely.
